Victorien Adebayor has been unveiled by Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities after completing his move.
The goal poacher has completed a loan move from Danish side HB Koge to the Royals until December 2021.
Speaking at his unveiling, the Nigerien’s striker said: “They are down in the league and Legon Cities know why they came for me and so my target is to help the team as much as I can.”
Coach Bashiru Hayford expressed his delight of the acquistion of the player and believes he will boost his attack.
“We all know him very well and what he can do. I think he can add a lot to my attack,” he said. “He definitely completes my attack,” added the gaffer.
Adebayor is expected to help the club in their fight against relegation.
The 24-year-old was a huge figure in the domestic top flight after netting 23 goals in 27 games for Inter Allies during his two-year stint with the Club.
He was the top scorer in the truncated League last season scoring 12 goals in 13 appearances.
Legon Cities have struggled all season, ending the first round 15th on the table having won only 4 matches, with 7 draws.
