UEFA have announced the nominees for their ‘Men’s Team of the Year’ for 2020 with Bayern Munich dominating after their Champions League win and Cristiano Ronaldo shortlisted for the 17th year in a row.
Fans are able to select their line-up from 50 players across the continent who have stood out across European competitions and domestic leagues before the deadline on January 6.
Bayern dominate the nominees with 10 members of Hansi Flick’s treble-winning side nominated, including UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Robert Lewandowski.
Ronaldo is once again nominated, for a sensational 17th year in a row, after he helped Juventus win another Serie A title.
Despite missing out on the LaLiga title and Barcelona’s drubbing by Bayern in the Champions League, Lionel Messi is once again nominated for the 15th time.
