Medeama SC have parted ways with head coach Yaw Preko and his assistant Yaw Acheampong after a disappointing end to the campaign.

The Mauve and Yellow side struggled to cope with their initial intensity during the start of the 2020/21 season following the departure of coach Samuel Boadu to Hearts of Oak midway through the season.

The pair appointed to replace Samuel Boadu and Hamza Mohammed failed to achieve the club target at end of the season after ending the campaign with nothing to show.

Medeama ended the 2020/21 football season at the 5th position with 54 points.

They also lost 3-0 to Hearts of Oak in the semi-final of the MTN FA Cup at Cape Coast.

The club on Friday confirmed they have parted way with the pair after deciding against renewing their contract.
