Samuel Ebo Kwaito who is the agent of former AshantiGold striker Shafiu Mumuni has hinted that it is unlikely his client will be playing in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League as he is eyeing a move abroad.
Samuel Ebo Kwaito made this revelation in an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM. According to him, the Black Stars B striker has done enough on the local scene and he’s seeking a new challenge abroad.
He opined that his client has lost interest in playing in the domestic league amid speculations of a possible move to Asante Kotoko.
“Shafiu Mumuni has no motivation to play in Ghana, he has lost interest in the local league after winning all he could with AshantiGold,” Samuel Ebo Kwaito told Oyerepa 100.7FM.
Shafiu Mumuni on Wednesday quashed media reports that he is joining Dreams FC as a free agent after his AshantiGold departure and revealed that he has a number of offers from overseas on his table
”It’s not true, I have not spoken to anyone at Dreams. There are suitors from France, Spain and Portugal and in Ghana Kotoko is also around. It’s not true am joining Dreams FC” Shafiu Mumuni told Oyerepa FM.
Shafiu Mumumi emerged as the top scorer of WAFU 2019 competition, he bagged four goals to claim the Golden Boot award.
