Ghana Premier League side, Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of Samuel Boateng in the ongoing transfer window.
Boateng joins the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal after successful negotiations, becoming the club’s fourth signing.
“…Ladies and gentlemen, we are delighted to confirm the signing of sensational young forward, Samuel Boateng, on a three-year deal from Future Stars,” a statement from the club said.
The striker was one of the standout players for Future Stars Academy, who sealed qualification to the 2021/22 Division One League.
He bagged an impressive 18 goals in 15 games in the just ended Division Two League.
Asante Kotoko are currently busy on the transfer market for signings after the acquisition of former Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey and Maxwell Agyemang of Wamanfo Mighty Royals FC and Clinton Opoku from Phar Rangers.
Meanwhile, the club have begun pre-season ahead of the commencement of the Ghana Premier League on October 29.
