Supporters of Hearts of Oak have expressed disappointment in the club’s board following the decision not to invite them in the handing over ceremony of the Pobiman Academy Project.

Hearts of Oak last week announced a partnership agreement with K.A Estate Limited for the construction of the Pobiman Academy Project.

The local firm will start the grounds work (substructure only) and will work in partnership with the Turkish contractors.

The club after signing the partnership with the construction firm later proceeded to the site to formally hand it over to K.A Estate Limited.

However, the National Chapters Committee PRO Jones Asante Mfodwo affectionately called Kobby Jones has made it known that they weren’t happy over the decision to snub them in the ceremony.

“It’s true that the club didn’t invite us for the ceremony, we even had no idea that such a programme would be coming on,” Kobby Jones said.

The Pobiman Project, when completed, will house a staff residence, senior housing unit, gym training centers (pitches), laundry, swimming pool, lockers, toilet facilities, kitchen, and dining hall.
