Nana Kofi Babil’s SCR Altach play Dortmund in friendly today

Nana Kofi Babil’s SC Rheindorf Altach will today, August 12 lock horns with German side Borussia Dortmund in a pre-season friendly.

The match is expected to kick off at 3:00 pm at the Cashpoint-Arena, the home venue of SCR Altach. The two sides will be using the match to sharpen the rough edges ahead of their respective 2020/21 campaign

Nana Kofi Babil will be hoping to feature in the warm friendly against the German side. The Ghanaian youngster last month completed a year loan deal from Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC to the Austrian side.

And SC Rheindorf Altach Sporting chief Christian Möckel hailed the acquisition of youngster Nana Kofi Babil.

Speaking on the players’ move, he lauded the qualities of the youngster which convinced SCR Altach to secure his signature.

He says the attacker will be provided right environment to take his career to the next level.

“Nana Kofi Babil is an incredibly fast and dynamic outside player who has already gained professional experience with his young years. He sees the SCR Altach as a great opportunity to gain a foothold in European football. We are convinced of it to be able to offer him the environment that he needs to take this step and develop his talent,” Christian Möckel said.
