Maiden Kotoko Board of Directors meeting postponed

The first meeting of the newly-constituted Board of Directors has been postponed to Tuesday, Kotoko Express App can confirm.

The nine-member Board which is Chaired by, Dr. Kwame Kyei was to meet, for the first time, this morning at the Sports Hotel at Asokwa in Kumasi.

However, Kotoko Express App are told that the meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday morning. The venue, however, remains unchanged.

We can confirm that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will meet the Board at a later date after the maiden meeting. The Board will after rthe meeting with the Asantehene meet with the staff of the club.

Club Owner and Life Patron, Asantehene Otumfuo Tutu II last week announced a nine-member Board to be chaired by Dr. Kyei whose initial three-year mandate expired in December 2019.

The Board comprises seasoned businessmen and finance and administration experts, including Board Chairman of the Ghana Commercial Bank, Jude Arthur; Board Chairman, Ghana Exim Bank, Kwadwo Boateng Genfi; Chairman Erdmark Group and Chief Executive Officer, Rocksure Mining Company and Chief Executive Officer of Lamine Investments, Alhaji Abu Lamine.

The rest are Corporate Lawyer, Kwamina Mensah; Retired Director of Sports at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science of Technology, Joseph Yaw Adu; Head of Sports at the Sunyani Technical University, Evelyn Nsiah Asare and Otumfuo Ankobeahene, Baffour Kwame Kusi.
