Liberty Professionals winger Abraham Wayo joins Etoile du Sahel

Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel has completed the signing of winger Abraham Wayo, the club has announced.

The 18-year-old has joined the Tunisian giants for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal.

This comes after the youngster passed his mandatory medical with the Stade Olympique de Sousse outfit.

Wayo was a key performer for the relegated Premier League outfit Liberty Professionals in the just ended season.

He netted seven goals and provided five assists in his 32 appearances for Liberty Professionals in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

He won three man of the match awards in the process.

Wayo becomes the sixth Ghanaian footballer after Daniel Lomotey, Prosper Ahiabu, Kwame Opoku, Joseph Esso and Percious Boah who have recently joined clubs in North Africa.
