Former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan says his new club Legon Cities FC have a future plan for Ghana football.
Gyan 34, who joined the club on deadline day expressed his delight to return to Ghana football.
Gyan in a tweet urged Ghanaians to keep an eye on Legon Cities in the 2020/21 season.
Gyan who has been without a club for over nine months will join the first team of Legon Cities for pre-season training next week ahead of the start of the new season on November 13.
Ghana Premier League return
Gyan has played for only one season in the GPL, scoring 10 goals in 16 appearances for Liberty in 2003.
Ghana’s all-time leading scorer returns to the League after 17 years playing in Europe and Asia.
After earning a move to Udinese, Gyan went to play for Rennes, Sunderland, Al Ain, Shanghai SIPG, Al Ahli Dubai, Kayserispor and North East United.
