Accra Great Olympics will vent their anger on Asante Kotoko when they clash in the top liner of Ghana Premier League matchday 20 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday.
Olympics dropped points last Sunday when they were beaten by Legon Cities 2-0 and hope to make amends against the Kumasi-based side.
Ahead of the game, the Dade Boys head coach Annor Walker is brimming with confidence and is full of hope that his side will defeat league leaders Kotoko.
Great Olympics beat the Porcupines 1-0 in the first round courtesy Michael Yeboah’s second-half strike and Walker believes his side will once again come out unscathed on Friday.
Walker admitted Mariano Barreto has had an impact on the Porcupine Warriors since he took charge but is unfazed by the turn in form of the Kumasi-based side.
“No, there’s no fear at all in me, I’m only waiting for Friday to come so that we can honor the game”
“Yes, Barreto has added something new to the Kotoko team but I have so much confidence in my players that we will beat them and achieve our target,” he told Kumasi FM.
Both sides occupy the top two spots on the Ghana Premier League log with Asante Kotoko a point ahead of Great Olympics who are second.
Kotoko who have hit a fine form so far this season and are on 34 points with Great Olympics on 33 points.
Meanwhile, Kotoko coach Mariano Baretto has named a 19-man squad for the encounter.
