Asante Kotoko have bolstered their squad with the signing of free agent Zakaria Mumuni.
The 24-year-old speedster is joining the Kumasi-based club on a three-year deal subjected to a mandatory medical examination at the club.
He has been unattached since December 2020 following the expiration of his contract with DR Congo heavyweights AS Vita Club.
Before ending his stint with Dr Congo, the former WAFA widesman made 12 appearances in both CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions for the Kinshasa-based club.
Mumuni previously featured for West African Football Academy SC and Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League before switching to DR Congo.
The former Ghana U20 star will be registered in the second transfer window which will be opened next month. The transfer window will be opened on February 8, 2021 by the Ghana Football Association.
