King Faisal striker Osman Ibrahim added his voice to the Ghana Premier League cancellation or continuation debate.
The striker who was in fine form before the league was suspended has waded into the topic of whether the 2019/20 season should be voided or continued.
Whilst some club administrators have shared that the season must be continued when it is safe to do so, Ibrahim has a contrary opinion saying the season must be scrapped.
According to him the position of his beloved club is not good and it will favour them once the season is voided.
King Faisal lie bottom of the Ghana Premier League with 6points out of 14 matches They are the only club yet to win a match in the suspended season.
The Ghana Premier League has been suspended since March due to the coronavirus outbreak.
“Personally, considering the position of King Faisal I want the league cancelled. I am in a fine form but due to our inability to win matches my performance has been underrated.”
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association have announced that the football season which was halted by COVID-19 remains suspended until further notice and they will make public a decision on June 30, 2020 on whether to continue the 2019/20 football season or not.
