Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal Football Club have announced that they have appointed Turkish tactician Kasim Gokyildiz as the team’s new head coach.
“Kasim Gökyildiz is our new head coach. Welcome, Mr. Kasim,” the Kumasi-based club said in a Twitter post on Thursday afternoon.
The club at the end of the first round of the 2020/2021 football season parted ways with interim coach Andy Sinason.
“Andy Sinason has left his post as interim coach of King Faisal.
“The club would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him well in his future endeavors,” King Faisal announced last Monday.
Preparing for the second round of the Premier League campaign, King Faisal have confirmed the appointment of Kasim Gokyildiz as they eye escaping relegation at the end of the football season.
The gaffer earlier this week was introduced to his players and immediately starts work in his new role.
