John Paintsil joins Kaizer Chiefs as assistant coach

Kaizer Chiefs have announced former Ghana international defender John Paintsil as their new assistant coach.

In a major shake up, Paintsil who was last playing for Maritzburg United before leaving the club, has now been installed next to Steve Komphela at Chiefs while Doctor Khumalo will be redeployed, the club said at a press conference today, according to Kickoff.

Also joining the Amakhosi technical team are Marco Muhnoz (physical trainer) and Alexandre Revoredo (goalkeeper coach). Brian Baloyi will remain part of the goalkeeping department.

The club put out a tweet to announce Painstil’s inclusion into the Amakhosi family.
