Kumasi Asante Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah has stated that never in his life will he work for bitterest rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
Amponsah said if his tenure of work comes to end at the Kumasi-based club and the Phobians come calling for his services, he will tenure them down.
He added that it wouldn’t be a problem to work for Hearts of Oak’s regional rivals Great Olympics but to have a relationship with the Phobians is a no-no.
“After delivering my mandate for Asante Kotoko, if Great Olympics comes calling, I’ll do a professional job but I’ll never go to Hearts of Oak,” – Nana Yaw Amponsah said in an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr FM.
“It is impossible to work for Kotoko’s rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak, I don’t think it will ever happen” he concluded.
Nana Yaw Amponsah took over as the CEO for the porcupine Warriors about a year ago and led the team to a runner up spot in the Ghana Premier League last season.
He was widely reported to be an avid supporter of Hearts of Oak after he was appointed as Kotoko CEO.
