The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the 2020-2021 season will commence in November following the decision of the Ghana government to give the green light for football to resume in the country.

Premier Division games are expected to start from Friday, November 13, 2020, with the Division One League scheduled to start on December 3, 2020. The Women’s Premier League has been fixed to start on January 2, 2021.

The 2019/20 season was cancelled following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic when the campaign in the topflight was less than halfway through the season.
