Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome Karela United to the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday in Ghana Premier League (GPL) Matchday Four encounter as the 2020-21 football season rolls on.
This will be Hearts’ second home game of the campaign after drawing 2-2 with AshantiGold SC on Matchday Two. The Phobians are winless in the two games we have played after last Sunday’s 0-1 deficit against Inter Allies in the capital.
New head coach, Kosta Papic will aim to record a first win of the campaign when he leads out his charges against a Karela United side that is unbeaten so far and sit top of the table.
In the two games Hearts have played, they have scored two goals and conceded three and, the defence should be a concern to their new technical head when naming his side for the encounter.
The team have created some decent chances in those two games, but, have failed to take most and, this in part has accounted for the two winless results.
Phobians will hope the team can take advantage of the home conditions and produce a result against this Karela United team that has lost against us anytime they have visited the capital.
They will, however, come into this game looking confident and, they will try to preserve their unbeaten start to the season after winning two and drawing one of the three matches they have played.
Coach Papic will like to begin his second spell at Hearts on a good note with a win when his lines up his charges against the league leaders.
