The Coronavirus pandemic caused the cancellation of the season meaning a fresh start ahead for Wonder Club as the new season kicks off in mid-November 2020.

Olympics will in their first five matches of the campaign face title contenders Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko, as well as regional rivals Liberty Professionals and Legon Cities with Mysterious Dwarfs completing the list.

Speaking in a pre-season video to whet the appetite of fans ahead of the new campaign, Coach Annor Walker is predicting a Top 5 finish for Great Olympics.

“Last season I came when the league was started already. This time I am starting with the team and my prayers are at least I have to be in the first 4,5 positions. Fans should expect good football and Olympics being one of the best in the country”, Coach Walker said.

For his part, Great Olympics captain Gladson Awako indicated that they are not going to disappoint the fans in the upcoming season.

“The fans should watch out for Accra Great Olympics, this is a different team and everyone out there should watch out for us.”

“We all knew the problems we had and the little mistakes we made in the truncated 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which I think the coaches and staff are working on it.”

Awako also called on the fans who have always been great to continue supporting them and vowed not to disappoint them this season.
