After a barren first half, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku opened the scoring for Still Believe lads but ended up losing the game after conceding the last 10 minutes of the game to Asante Kotoko.

Madusiru Salifu drew Asante Kotoko level after latching on a pass from Isaac Oppong in the 83rd minute. Substitute Isaac Oppong who made the first, scored the second with an individual effort after rounding up the Dreams FC defence before slotting the ball into the roof of the net for the second goal.

With a few minutes of play remaining, Richmond Lamptey scored the third goal for Asante Kotoko after his thunderous effort beat Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbesi. The former Inter Allies man who is noted for long range drives hit the ball from 25 yards as it zoomed into the net for the third goal.
