The Black Stars of Ghana have moved up one place to 46th in the latest FIFA ranking.

The Black Stars could not improve the 1439 points accumulated in the previous month due to international matches not being played but still jumped one place to be tied with Costa Rica placed 46th in the latest edition of the FIFA ranking.

On the continental level, the Black Stars still remain on the sixth position, behind Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco respectively.

Some minor movement in the top 50 sees Wales (23rd, down 1) and Paraguay (41st, down 1) each fall down a spot.  Palestine (103rd, up 3) are the first biggest climbers of 2020. The AFC side’s success in January’s Bangabandhu Cup sees them leapfrog Estonia, Trinidad and Tobago, Mozambique and Kenya as they secured the biggest move by points and rank.

Here are FIFA’s top 10 countries:

  1. Belgium.

  2. France.

  3. Brazil.

  4. England.

  5. Uruguay.

  6. Croatia.

  7. Portugal.
