Ghana maintained its 52nd spot in the world for the month of August, FIFA announced on Thursday.
Charles Akonnor’s Black Stars – who failed to defeat Cote d’Ivoire and Morocco in their last two games remain in seventh place in Africa and 52nd in the world.
Failure for the Black Stars to overcome the teams saw them dropped four of their accumulated points. The nation now has 1421.
The Black Stars still remained seventh place behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria Egypt respectively.

Globally, Belgium retained top spot despite bowing out of the European Championship quarter-finals. Eventual winners Italy moved up into the top five behind runners-up England.
