The head coach of Dreams FC, Vladislav Viric has been handed a one-match suspension and fined a sum of GHS2,000 for comments made on officiating after the game against Asante Kotoko.
The gaffer last month was unhappy when his side suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Porcupine Warriors at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
As a result, he alleged in his post-match interview that Asante Kotoko had referees on their side to win the game.
Having been dragged to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee, coach Vladislav Viric has been slapped with a fine of GHS2,000.
“…a fine of GHc2,000 is hereby imposed on Vladislav Viric in accordance with Article 34.9 of the GFA Premier League Regulations and Article 6.1 of the GFA Disciplinary Code,” part of a verdict passed by the GFA DC reads.
It continues, “That Vladislav Viric, Head Coach of Dreams FC is hereby handed a one-match suspension in accordance with Article 6(2)(a) of the GFA Disciplinary Code.”
Meanwhile, coach Vladislav Viric has been asked to issue an apology for his comments or face an additional six-month suspension.
