Germany and Chile drew 1-1 in the Confederation Cup to leave group B wide open for qualification to the Semi Final.
Alexis Sanchez gave Chile the lead in the 6th minute after some fine work from Arturo Vidal.
The Germans pressed and got that all important goal before the 1st half after some neat play ensured that Lars Stindl had an easier task of just tapping the ball past the Chile goalkeeper Johnny Herrera.

The 2nd half saw few chances and the game eventually ended 1-1.
Both teams are now tied on 4 points in group B with Chile on top on goal difference. The last group matches will prove vital as Germany will meet Cameroon, Chile will play Australia.
