Frederick Acheampong has parted ways with Ghana Premier League club AshantiGold.

Frederick Acheampong affectionately called Fred Achie has stepped down as the Chief Executive Officer of the Obuasi-based club., bringing his two-year-stay with the Miners to an end.

The Astitute Media Personality who works with Kessben Radio and TV failed to reasons for his resignation. He, however, expressed gratitude to club bankroller Kwaku Frimpong ‘Champion’ and the supporters for the opportunity.

The Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association announced his resignation on Twitter. He is the Chairman of the Black Meteors Management Committee.

He Tweeted: End of a golden road. I have tendered in my resignation as C.E.O. of @AshantiGoldSC_
