Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare, the Advisor to the President on Health says that football could be back in the month of September and agrees to the opinions of truncating this season’s league.

He revealed in an interview with Kumasi-based station Fox FM.

According to him, the Coronavirus has affected almost everything on earth. “The first phase will end on 31st July, and we will get to know when the next phase will begin in the course of our measures on COVID-19, but I personally agree with those who think football should be back in September”.

Dr. Nsiah further stated that, the sporting disciplines which were not captured in the Phase One should have patience. He pitied football stakeholders and revealed his interest in the local league.
