Ex-Ghana goalkeeper Edward Ansah has been appointed as the new goalkeeping coach for Legon Cities.
The former Dreams FC and Hearts of Oak goalkeepers trainer will take charge of Royals goalkeeping department until the end of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Legon Cities on Friday announced the newest member to their technical team: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Edward Ansah as the new Goalkeepers trainer on a contract that runs until the end of the 2020/21 season.”
Ansah was a former national goalkeeper and manned the post for the Black Stars in the early 90’s.
The former Ghanaian international also played for Indian side Churchill Brothers for 4 seasons after joining them in 1999.
He was a key member of the side during his playing days where he led them to win the title in 2003.
The 57-year-old ha worked with some of the nation’s top coaches in the past including Burkhard Ziese, Mariano Baretto, Claude Le Roy, Milovan Rajevac and Goran Stevanovic.
