Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has showered praises on Jordan Ayew and his attacking partners after their fine display in their 2-0 win over Bournemouth.
Hodgson’s attackers were in devastating form as they put in a shift to pick up the maximum points on Saturday.
The Eagles captain Luka Milivojevic put his outfit in the lead before Andre Ayew cemented the victory for the home side.
Speaking after the match Roy Hodgson was pleased with the attacking threat his side carried as Palace eased to victory at Selhurst Park.
“But on that subject, Wilf [Zaha] and all of the front players were superb. Yes, they’re flamboyant and have skill and pace but they were very sensible… If we can keep doing that, it might be a nice end to the season.”
Meanwhile, Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has congratulated Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew for his latest feat in the English Premier League.
Jordan’s goal on Saturday meant he is now the all-time Ghanaian top scorer in the Premier League leapfrogging former Leeds and Black stars striker, Anthony Yeboah.
Kurt Okraku took to Twitter to praise the 28-year-old for making Ghanaians proud.
Ayew reached the 25 goal mark in 129 matches while Yeboah scored his 24 goals in 47 appearances.
Jordan Ayew will hope to continue his fine form when the Eagles travel to play League leaders Liverpool at Anfield in their next game on Wednesday.
