Accra High Court has dismissed Emmanuel Clottey’s case against his former club Asante Kotoko and has fined the player GHC 5000.
Clottey took the Porcupines to court in August 2019 and prayed the court to order the Kumasi-based club to pay the US$180,000 fine imposed on him in 2015 by FIFA as a result of contract breaches against Tunisian side, Esperance.

The former Ghana Premier League goal king asked the court to make Kotoko pay for the salaries and allowances he would have received within the period of his ban by FIFA.
However, the court has squashed the application filed against the Porcupines, In addition, the court has asked the former Berekum Chelsea talisman to pay GH¢5,000 to the Reds.
