CK Akonnor congratulates Kudus Mohammed on Ajax switch

Black Stars coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has congratulated Kudus Mohammed after completing a switch to Dutch giants Ajax.

Akonnor took to Twitter to wish the former FC Nordsjaelland the very best on his new chapter.

Former Black Stars assistant Ibrahim Tanko has also sent congratulatory message to the younster. He cautioned Kudus not to rest on his success.

Kudus Mohammed on Thursday officially joined Dutch giants, Ajax Amsterdam from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.

The attacking midfielder penned a 5-year-deal until June 30, 2025, with the four-time UEFA Champions League winners after successfully passing his medical.

Speaking in his first interview, a delighted Mohammed Kudus said he looks forward to embracing the culture of Ajax as he stressed that he wants to improve his game at the new club.

“Now a new place awaits me, and Ajax Amsterdam is a very special club with a very special culture, which I look forward to embracing. I look forward to continuing my development at Ajax and continuing the pursuit of my dream”, Mohammed Kudus said as quoted by the official website of the Dutch side.

Kudus will wear the jersey number 20 at his new club.
