GFA PRESIDENT THANKS NANA ADDO AND ALL GHANAIANS

I am humbled and indeed overwhelmed by the outpouring of congratulatory messages on my election as the President of the Ghana Football Association by all Ghanaians across the world.

First and foremost, it is with the greatest humility that I acknowledge the congratulatory message of the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, the embodiment of the people of Ghana. I am extremely grateful for the confidence reposed in me and the support of the State for our industry.

I thank all Ghanaians, especially the Sports Minister, Normalisation Committee, the gallant contestants and the entire football fraternity for supervising a successful elective process. I am also grateful for the goodwill messages from members of Parliament and the Judiciary, corporate Ghana and the media.

It is now time for us to come together to ignite the passion of the nation and create wealth for all in the industry and Ghanaians at large.

We have been presented with a unique opportunity to chart a new course. This new era would be anchored on good corporate governance principles such as transparency, accountability, compliance and the strict adherence to ethical values to enable us  accomplish our set objectives and goals.
