CAF Women’s Champions League final: Hasaacas Ladies seek revenge against Rivers Angels

After securing a place in the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League with a 2-0 win over Burkinabé side USFA, Hasaacas Ladies will today lock horns with Rivers Angels for the Gold medal place.

Both teams have already booked a ticket to Egypt as the two representatives from the WAFU Zone B block.

The game is scheduled for Thursday, 6:30pm at the Stade Champroux, Abidjan.

Head Coach Yusif Basigi on preparations against Rivers Angles and Injury update:

“The team is very happy and much ready for our next game. They beat us in the first game and it’s now a thing of the past. We’ve been able to analyze the way they play and we are confident to beat them tomorrow.”

“No player is injured, we have a full house going into tomorrow’s game.”

The Last Time Out:

Both teams were in the same group (Group B) of the tournament and played their first game against each other.

Rivers Angles emerged victorious after a 2:0 win against Hasmal Ladies going ahead to top the group.

Hasmal secured a 2-0 win over USFA in the semifinal and Rivers Angels had a 5-1 win over Amis du Mondé from Togo.
