Sory Ibrahima Keita from Mali will be the centre Referee when Club Industriel De Kamsar from Guinea hosts Ghana’s Accra Hearts of Oak in the CAF Champions League.
He will be assisted by mates, Drissa Kamory Niare (Assistant Referee I), Amadou Belly Guisse Amadou (Assistant II) and Harouna Coulibaly (Fourth Official). Omer Kouamé Dehoule Côte D’Ivoire is the Match Commissioner. Senegalese official Fadouma Dia DIA will serve as the Referee Assessor while Mohamed Tafsir Soumah from Guinea acts as COVID-19 Officer.
The match is scheduled for the Nongo-General Lansana Conte stadium on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 4pm local time.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak defeated Division Two side Adabraka Elders FC 3-0 in their first pre-season friendly at the Legon School Park on Wednesday.
The Phobians, who are preparing for the upcoming Caf Champions League preliminary round fixture against Guinean side CI Kamsar, were without first choice goalkeeper Richard Attah and attacker Afriyie Barnieh.
However, goalkeeper Richmond Ayi and others stood in to put up a spirited performance.
A brace from forward Isaac Mensah in the first half of the game and another wonderful goal by Larry Sumaila did the job for Samuel Boadu’s men.
Hearts are expected to play an international friendly during the weekend before they leave Ghana for game against Kamsar on September 12.
