West Bromwich Albion and Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew.

According to the Daily Mail, Ayew is attracting interest from the Premier League ahead of the end of the transfer window, which slams shut on Friday evening.

The 30-year-old scored 15 goals and registered seven assists in 44 Championship appearances last term, helping Steve Cooper’s side reach the play-off semi-finals.

But Swansea boss Steve Cooper is now facing an anxious wait to discover whether the club can keep hold of Ayew beyond Friday’s deadline.

The international transfer deadline – where English clubs could buy, sell and loan players from abroad – closed on October 5, but a domestic agreement between Premier League and EFL teams means players can still be transferred in England.

The domestic transfer window closes at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 16.

Andre Ayew is in the camp of the Black Stars as they lock horns with Qatar this afternoon. The captain of the Black Stars has named in Charles Kwablan Akonnor’s starting XI against Qatar at 3:30 pm.
