Ghanaian striker Bernard Tekpetey has joined Bulgarian giants Ludogorets on loan a two-year loan deal from his parent club Schalke 04.
Schalke on Thursday confirmed that Bernard Tekpetey has joined Bulgarian side PFC Ludogorets on a two-year loan deal.
Tekpetey who had a year left his two-year loan deal with German side Fortuna Dusseldorf parted ways with the club on Monday after they got relegated.
“We have exempted Bernard Tekpetey from his duties and obligations as a squad player until Wednesday, July 29, so that he can look after his personal future during this time,” the Fligeraners posted on Twitter on Monday.

Tekpetey only made 9 Bundesliga appearances for Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he provided only an assist and scored no goals for the club.
