Ghanaian midfielder and Former New Edubiase United player Asiedu Attobrah has joined Iraqi side Al Shorta FC on a six months contract.

Attobrah was tipped to join Accra Hearts of Oak but the move fell through allowing the former U20 star to join Al Shorta.

Attobrah has however opened up on the reason why his reported move to the Phobians hit a snag.

They have won a combined ten League of the Institutes and Iraqi Premier League titles, and most recently won the league in both the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons.
