AshantiGold have officially announced United Kingdom-based sportswear iGimel as their kit sponsors for the 2020/21 season.
This comes after the Miners penned a three-year deal with iGimel Sportswear after successful negotiations.
iGimel sportswear will be replacing Scottish firm Pokoo who last kitted the Miners in 2019 and 2020.
In a statement via the club’s official website, they said: We announce iGimel Sportswear as our official kits sponsor. Yellow circle Introducing…our home kit for the 2020/2021 season.
Club President Dr. Kwaku Frimpong disclosed to Kumasi-based Sikka FM, the new kit sponsor is providing the club with the best of deals.
IGimel will be providing the former AshantiGold with jerseys, bibs, training equipment, and other sports apparel.
AshantiGold SC will be representing Ghana at the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup following the cancellation of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Miners will be donning their new kits in the competition.
