Black Stars striker Asamoah has spoken highly of Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku saying the former Dreams FC chairman is ‘unique.’
Speaking to Max TV, the former Liberty Professionals striker was full of praise for Kurt Okraku.
According to him, Kurt Okraku has handled his administration well since succeeding Kwasi Nyantakyi.
He said the GFA President ensured all the various leagues kick started and was running smoothly until Covid-19 set in which led to the leagues been cancelled.
“… We have a new President Kurt Okraku, I met this man and he is so organised, everything he does is unique,” told Max TV. “He started the League, and things were moving well until covid.”
Gyan, 34, believes Ghana football have a big future under Kurt Okraku’s administration.
“The way he does his things, I think he can do something good for Ghana.”
Asamoah Gyan missed out on CK Akonnor’s maiden Black Stars call up through injury but the prolific striker said he still wants to play for the national team again when called upon but would like to earn his call up.
“I am still available since I reconciled with the decision and everything, but one thing I always say is I have to start playing active soccer, people have to see me doing well before when I am given an invite I will say yes.”
Asamoah Gyan is Ghana’s all-time leading goalscorer with 51 goals.
