Swansea City deputy captain Andre Ayew has expressed disappointment in their stalemate with Nottingham Forest despite being on the score sheet.
The attacker scored his 17th goal of the season as the visitors picked up a point in their scoring draw game against Nottingham Forest.
However, his goal was not enough as they drew 2-2 with The Reds in match week 44 of the EFL Championship.
“Frustrating to not get 3 points today..but we keep going it’s not over until the last game.. good to get on the scoresheet..big game Saturday let’s get ready”
Swansea City were twice pegged back as they played out a draw with fellow play-off hopefuls Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
Steve Cooper’s side had started far the brighter on the banks of the Trent, and took a deserved lead when Rhian Brewster emphatically smashed home his ninth goal of the season.
Sammy Ameobi soon levelled against the run of play, but Andre Ayew’s penalty on the stroke of half-time – his 17th goal of the season – restored Swansea’s lead.
But Ameobi struck from long range 10 minutes into the second half and, despite Cooper sending on attacking reinforcements late on, the game ended all-square with a point of more use to the hosts than the visitors.
The result leaves the Swans three points off the play-off places, with games against Bristol City and Reading to come.
