Residents of Keta and Anloga District are calling on President Akufo-Addo to ensure the realization of various projects by his government.
The President is expected to tour part of the Volta Region today August 27, 2020.
The President is expected to meet the people and chiefs of Anloga and also have an interview on a local radio station.
He is also expected to be at Agordome where he will cut sod for the Keta Water project expansion.
His visit comes after his predecessor John Mahama also toured the area last week.
Some Residents who spoke to Joy News are calling on the Presidents to complete the Keta Harbour project as well as fix a number of deplorable roads.
The NPP launched their manifesto last week and outlined a number of projects they will undertake when they are retained in power.
One of the most talked about NPP promise was when they said they would build an airport and a harbour in Cape Coast in the Central Region.
Dr Bawumia who was speaking at the manifesto launch of the NPP said it is about time the people of Cape Coast get an airport.
He believes this will go a long way to boost economic activities in the region.
Though that promise has divided opinion, Dr Bawumia is of the view that due to the amount of traffic the region records, it will be prudent to build an Airport to ease that pressure on other means of transport.
Dr Bawumia said Ghanaians should go to the polls and vote for the NPP for another four years because they have a better future for Ghanaians.
