National Organiser of the NPP Sammi Awuku says the flagbearer of the NDC John Mahama has no vision for the Ghanaians to be voted back into power.

According to him, Mahama’s pronouncement after acquiring his voter ID that Ghanaians should vote for him to continue his good works shows that he has lost touch with his own records.

“Has completely lost track with his own track record and a candidate who is not in touch with the reality of the people whose votes he seeks. It also shows that he cannot really decide for himself whether he did well or badly as President.”

Speaking at the party’s press conference in Accra, Sammi Awuku said Mahama has on several occasions admitted he has made some mistakes during his tenure and therefore he thinks he does not deserve another chance.

“Because he had admitted that he has committed several mistakes while in office.”

Sammi Awuku added that Mahama is not a smooth talker and but can not be trusted to be a man of conviction, vision and competence to manage the country’s economy.

“Apart from being a smooth talker with a silver tongue John Mahama is not a man that we can trust to be of conviction, vision and competence. He is not the man with the boldness to confront and manage an economy under this novel coronavirus pandemic without its implication for lives and livelihood.”

“Managing this country is too complex for the NDC and Mahama simply because they have been tried, tested and they failed actually believing even today that they did well.”

He noted that Mahama is only running for the Presidency again to satisfy his personal interest.
