The 2nd lady of the Republic of Ghana, Her Excellency, Samira Bawumia says she is confident Ghanaian women will vote massively for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

She made this statement in a working visit to the Ahafo Region. She visited Kasapin in the Asunafo North Constituency, Gambia in the Asutifi North Constituency and Yamfo in the Tano North respectively.

The Minister in charge of the Ahafo Region, who doubles as the member of parliament for Asunafo North, Hon Evans Opoku Bobie welcomed the 2nd lady and her great entourage in a hospitable atmosphere.

We’re grateful – NPP to ‘brave’ NDC MPs who put Ghana first

“On behalf of the president of the Republic of Ghana, H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Municipal and District Chief Executives of the Region and my own personal behalf, You are humbly Welcome to Ahafo, the land of peace and prosperity.”- Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie (MP) Minister.

Addressing the good people of Asunafo North, Asutifi North and Tano North, Her Excellency Samira Bawumia stated emphatically that, the December General Elections is an Elections for women in Ghana. The ball is in the court of Ghanaian women to determine the future of Ghana through the Elections.

She stressed that, women have really benefited a lot in the NPP administration. The implementation of the unprecedented Free Senior High School by the tenacious president, H. E. Nana Akufo-Addo and H. E. Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia has really brought an unstinting relief to women.

Her Excellency Samira added that, Ghanaian women suffered a lot under the previous NDC JDM administration because, the National Health Insurance was in limbo, free maternal care was mismanaged and the exorbitant SHS fees.

The NPP has now revived the NHIS, the free Maternal Care and the Free Education has become a bonus for women.

She used the opportunity as a voluminous conduit and called on all women to vote massively for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, by voting number One (1) on the ballot paper.

The four more to do more is not just a slogan because, the NPP is poised for more actions and women will never be left out.

The 2nd lady made reference to page 155 of the New Patriotic Party’s 2020 Manifesto which talks about the construction of new model schools for the Zongo Communities in the next term of the NPP to steer the affairs of Ghana if the Ghanaian people retain them in power.

Samira explained that, the model schools will help to improve Islamic Education and teach the young Muslims more about the Holy prophet Mohammed(S.A.W).

The Mammoth Crowd who welcomed the 2nd lady assured her of their full support in the upcoming Elections.

Traditional leaders and Zongo chiefs of the three Constituencies prayed fervently for her and the Government of Ghana. Her Excellency Samira Bawumia endorsed Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie of Asunafo North, Hon. Patrick Banor of Asutifi North and Hon. Freda Prempeh of Tano North.

She called on every tom, dick and harry to vote for all the NPP Parliamentary Candidates for total development.
