Dr Zanetor Rawlings, winner of Korle Klottey National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries, has finally registered as a voter with the Electoral Commssion (EC).
Zanetor, daughter of former President Rawlings won the primary last year but was dragged to court by her main challenger, Nii Armah Ashietey.
Nii Ashietey is praying the court to nullify the primary on the basis that Zanetor is not a registered voter.
It is not clear what impact Zanetor’s acquisition of a voter ID card today will have on the case but her supporters have taken to social media to display the card.
