The Speaker of Parliament Prof. Mike Ocquaye has charged Members of Parliament who recently lost their seats in the just-ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries to be committed to the business of the House.

Over 41 incumbent MPs lost their seats in the just ended NPP parliamentary primaries on June 20, 2020.

The Speaker has charged them to exhibit good traits and commit fully to the business of the House as they have barely 5 months to leave their post.

“Those who did not retain their seat, better luck next time. One thing we should all know is that sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. Once you always win a fight prepare to also lose at times. If no one lost, no one would be here, so with your last days you just have to give your best for mother Ghana”.
