Workers of Jamal Hassan Company located on the Kojo Thompson road in Accra, Tudu are in fear as CEO Mr Ali is said to have tested positive for Covid-19 according to Prime News sources.
According to an in house staff member, Mr Ali tested positive for Covid-19 together with his wife, 2 children and a house help.
Some customers after hearing the news have decided to stay away from the shop which has generated some fear in the workers as they may have been infected with the virus.
Workers of Jamal Hassan Company are calling for the closure of the shop to enable the Ghana Health Service to run a test on all staff members and a possible self-quarantine them.
Ghana’s COVID-19 case count has risen to 12,929 with recoveries pegged at 4,468.
This indicates the detection of 339 new cases and brings the positive rate for the infection in Ghana to 4.95%.
