President John Dramani Mahama has received an honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree by the University of Aberdeen.
The convocation held on Friday at the University’s Kings College formed part of the President’s working visit to Scotland and the First Lady, Lordina Mahama was there to support her husband.
In accepting the honour, the now President Dr Mahama dedicated the degree to the people of Ghana.
“I consider this an honour for all Ghanaians and it is a reflection of the strides we have made as a people, both internationally and at home. I, therefore, dedicate this Doctor of Laws honorary degree to the people of Ghana”, were his exact words.
