Incumbent President of the Ghana Journalist Association has been re-elected.
He polled 310 votes as against 147 by his closest rival Lloyd Evans.

The win comes in spite of a persistent social media campaign against his retention by some prominent media figures who argued his first term has not served the interest of journalists in Ghana.

Speaking after the declaration, Affail Monney regretted the acrimonious campaign moments and urged journalists to rally behind him fulfilment of his duties.
