Burial service for former President Rawlings is underway at the Black Star Square.

Ghana’s longest-serving Head-of-State died in the early hours of Thursday, November 12, 2020, aged 73 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

Ghanaians from all walks of life and members of the diplomatic community have today converged at the Black Star Square for the state funeral of former President Jerry John Rawlings who will be buried at the Military Cemetery, in Accra.
