The NDC Volta caucus will meet with the Regional Minister Dr Letsa today over attacks in the area by the Western Togoland secessionist group.
NDC MP for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said the meeting will allow them to know the steps taken by the Regional Coordinating Council to address these security concerns.
According to him, they have received reports that three people were killed during the shootout by the security forces on Friday as against the one reported by the state.
He has also questioned how the group is always able to carry out the attack before the security agencies respond to the development.
Dr Ablakwa has called for a superior intelligence to deal with this secessionist group.
The Western Togoland secessionist group has last night attacked the STC bus terminal in Ho.
The group is reported to have beaten the drivers of STC and burnt one car in the process.
The secessionist group are said to have fired gunshots before attacking the drivers who were sleeping in the terminal.
There is heavy security presence now at the bus terminal, but the group members are yet to be identified.
