The event aims to enable thousands of street children, head porters and other less privileged people throng the venue to eat, drink, party and get medical screening and basic medical supplies.

A Director of Love Nest Foundation, Mr. McBen Adu-Asamoah, presenting the items, said that the motive is to provide a support system which meets the needs of the less privileged in Ghanaian communities. He mentioned that as part of Love Nest Foundation’s Mercy Project, the organisation found the Joy Easter Soup Kitchen as a means to reach out to the less privilege in society.  He added that Love Nest Foundation is grateful for such opportunities and assured that volunteers from the organisation will be present at Sunday’s event to render their services.
